Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and experienced Social Media & Community Manager to join our team as a full-time summer intern. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, South Asian fashion, and global trends. With excellent communication skills, you will help us build and engage with our online community. As the Social Media and Community Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, managing our social media platforms, and fostering engagement with our followers.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Social Media Manager and Community Manager who possesses the following skills and qualities:

Must Possess:

• Excellent knowledge of social media trends on Instagram and TikTok, and the ability to stay updated with emerging trends
• Proven ability to create engaging videos on TikTok and Instagram within brand guidelines
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive, and Canva for creating and editing high-quality social media content
• Experience in building relationships with influencers and managing influencer partnerships
• A team player with the ability to work closely with the sales team, marketing director, and other professionals
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A creative and analytical thinker who can develop and execute social media campaigns aligning with the company's brand and business objectives
• Passion for South Asian fashion and a deep understanding of the South Asian demographic's consumer behavior and buying culture
• Fluency in Hindi & Punjabi is a plus
• Basic knowledge and experience in South Asian jewelry and bridal traditions

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Marketing Director and Marketing Assistant in developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's brand and business objectives
• Review and set KPIs for social media campaigns, and monitor performance against these KPIs
• Manage, maintain, and grow social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok) by creating engaging and shareable content, developing relationships with influencers, and promoting user-generated content
• Grow the Instagram account by creating high-quality content, leveraging emerging trends, and fostering engagement with followers
• Plan and execute social media campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Director, Sales Team, and other creative professionals
• Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends and industry best practices
• Create reports on social media performance and provide insights on areas for improvement to the Marketing Director and senior leadership team
• Assist the sales team by consolidating sales leads on social media platforms to reach sales goals
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on all social media accounts to maintain a positive online reputation and foster engagement with followers
• Follow security and confidentiality protocols within the company and with partners

The ideal candidates must be aged between 18-30 and should be able to demonstrate their understanding of the South Asian demographic and their preferences for jewelry. Proficiency in various software platforms, including Google Drive, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.
