Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Assistant to join our team. In addition to supporting our social media and community management efforts, the Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in campaign management, including collaborating with other brands and creatives, as well as assisting with event management. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively strategize, execute, and measure marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant who possesses the following skills and qualities:

Must Possess:

• Proficiency in content creation and editing for websites, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and accurate product descriptions, blog posts, and other web content
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices for optimizing website content
• Strong organizational skills to assist with product management, including inventory tracking, pricing updates, and product data management
• Experience in campaign management, including reaching out to collaborate with other brands, creatives, and influencers
• Ability to coordinate and assist with event management, such as product launches or promotional events
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and CMS systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey brand messaging and engage with customers
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive, and Canva for creating and editing marketing materials
• Passion for South Asian fashion and a deep understanding of the South Asian demographic's consumer behavior and buying culture
• Basic knowledge and experience in South Asian jewelry and bridal traditions

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in social media management and community engagement
• Familiarity with influencer marketing and building influencer partnerships
• Understanding of social media trends, especially on Instagram and TikTok

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our brand and products
• Create and edit website content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages, ensuring accuracy, quality, and SEO optimization
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and representation across various channels
• Assist with product management tasks, including inventory tracking, pricing updates, and product data management
• Plan and manage marketing campaigns, including reaching out to collaborate with other brands, creatives, and influencers
• Coordinate and assist with event management, such as product launches or promotional events
• Support the development and execution of social media campaigns, including content creation, influencer partnerships, and community engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives
• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries or feedback received through various channels, maintaining a positive online reputation and fostering engagement
• Assist in creating marketing materials such as presentations, promotional materials, and advertisements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer behavior to provide insights for marketing strategies
